Schedule of parades, marches and series of events on April 30

On April 18 and April 22, the combined parade and marching practice will take place on Le Duan Street; from 9pm to midnight. After these two combined training sessions, the forces will have a preliminary rehearsal on April 25 (from 8pm to 11pm) and a final rehearsal on April 27 (from 7am to 12pm), on Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The official parade will take place at 6:30 a.m. on April 30 with the participation of about 13,000 people from 48 parade groups; taking place at the same time as the anniversary ceremony. The group will depart from the Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection, go on Le Duan Street, move through the main stage in front of the Reunification Hall. Then divide into 4 directions and move to the assembly location.

In addition, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification, Ho Chi Minh City also set off fireworks at 30 locations and demonstrated drones, specifically:

On April 19 and April 26, high-altitude fireworks will be set off at the Saigon River Cultural Park (Thu Duc City) at 9:30 p.m. On April 19 alone, Ho Chi Minh City will display 2,000 drones high above the Saigon River area (in front of Nguyen Hue Street) at 9:15 p.m.

On April 30, Ho Chi Minh City will display 10,500 drones on the Saigon River, Thu Duc City and District 1 (from 8:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.). At 9 p.m., high-altitude fireworks will be displayed at the Saigon River Park (Thu Duc City) and Ben Duoc Temple (Cu Chi District) and low-altitude fireworks will be displayed at 28 locations in Ho Chi Minh City's districts.

In addition, on April 19, April 26, April 29 and April 30 (from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.), Ho Chi Minh City will organize a series of activities "Colors of Uncle Ho's City"; in front of the headquarters of the People's Council and People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Hue walking street..., specifically:

Program "National Reunification Day" (April 30, at Nguyen Hue walking street and Saigon River area); 3D mapping art show in collaboration with creative groups from France, Singapore, Belgium, and Vietnam.

In addition to the above special events, Ho Chi Minh City also has other activities such as lighting show (night of April 19), in front of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee area.

On April 30, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:25 p.m., a special cavalry parade organized by the Ministry of Public Security will also take place on Nguyen Hue Street from Ton Duc Thang Street - Hoa Sen Fountain (intersection of Nguyen Hue - Le Loi) and move back to Ton Duc Thang Street.

On the evening of April 30, there will also be a community art performance called "Turban Dance" on Nguyen Hue walking street.
