Son La starts construction of 2,553 houses for disadvantaged families

Many localities have started construction and achieved 100% of the plan, such as Son La city and districts: Bac Yen, Quynh Nhai, Yen Chau... The province has been flexible and creative in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, ensuring the "3 hard" criteria (hard foundation, hard frame and hard roof).

Some localities have established construction teams to undertake construction work at prices lower than the market price. For households with special difficulties and insufficient initial financial capacity, the commune government will support with advance funding to purchase construction materials; the households will repay after receiving housing support money.

Approval of the project to preserve and restore the relic site of the National Assembly Standing Committee

The People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province has just approved the project to preserve and restore the National Assembly Standing Committee relic site in Trung Yen commune, Son Duong district. The project is invested by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the following items: Restoring the residence, office and safe bunker of President Ton Duc Thang; building a new Memorial House for President Ton Duc Thang; renovating the exhibition and reception house; restoring the overall stele house of the relic site; building a flagpole, stele system and symbols to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the National Assembly of Vietnam.

The relic site has a total area of ​​over 2,000 m², and was the residence and workplace of the National Assembly Standing Committee and President Ton Duc Thang from late 1952 to late 1954. This is a red address associated with the formation and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly. In 2000, the relic site was ranked as a national historical relic.

Thai Nguyen strengthens attracting investment capital for social development

The People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province issued Directive No. 10/CT-UBND on enhancing the attraction of investment capital for social development in the province. The People's Committee of the province determined that promoting total investment capital for social development is a task of primary importance and significance in order to achieve the goal of economic growth.

Lang Son Provincial Police investigate and clarify 109 social order cases

In the first quarter, Lang Son Provincial Police investigated and clarified 109 cases with 222 subjects committing crimes against social order, reaching a rate of 84.4%; very serious and especially serious cases reached 100%.

The police force also discovered and handled 87 cases with 126 subjects violating economic and environmental laws; discovered 78 cases, arrested 149 subjects committing drug crimes, seized 131.5 grams of heroin, 2,273 pills and 6.5 grams of synthetic drugs, along with many related exhibits.

In addition, the Provincial Police Department has proactively implemented the Project to reorganize the provincial and district police apparatus; receiving four new functions and tasks from departments and branches in a methodical and scientific manner, demonstrating a high sense of responsibility.

Bac Giang Electricity conducts disaster prevention and search and rescue drills

Bac Giang Electricity Company has just organized a company-level disaster prevention and search and rescue-incident handling-safety-information technology drill in 2025. More than 120 officers and employees of the company participated in the drill, with a hypothetical situation of a natural disaster occurring in the area causing a power outage.

The drill met the requirements: Isolate and minimize damage caused by natural disasters; mobilize sufficient human resources, materials, and means to quickly fix power grid and telecommunications system problems; promptly restore power to localities; ensure absolute safety for people and equipment; fully implement the steps to handle power grid problems according to regulations; effectively organize first aid and emergency care for victims.
