On December 19, at Van Hoa Military Port, Van Yen Commune, Van Don District, Brigade 169, Naval Region 1 held a meeting to unite the army and people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).
At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious traditions of the Vietnam People's Army and the Navy, and reported on outstanding results in performing the Brigade's military and defense tasks in 2024.
In 2024, Brigade 169 successfully completed its military and defense missions, was awarded the emulation flag by the Ministry of National Defense, and the Brigade Party Committee achieved "clean and strong". The Brigade proactively coordinated closely with local Party committees, authorities, and organizations to build a solid defense area; actively participated in the new rural construction movement; helped people prevent and overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (YAGI), and fight forest fires; contributed to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the areas where they were stationed...

Radar Station 28, Regiment 295 (Division 363) coordinated with the People's Committee of Dam Ha commune (Dam Ha district) to organize a cultural exchange program with the theme "Warm military-civilian affection".
In a united, joyful and exciting atmosphere, the delegates reviewed the history and tradition of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day through the propaganda of officers and soldiers of Radar Station 28.
The program includes singing, dancing, music, propaganda skits... praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, the heroic Army, Air Defense - Air Force, praising the love for the homeland... performed by officers and soldiers of Radar Station 28 and youth union members, students of the twinned unit. The performances express feelings and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations; at the same time affirming the firm belief in the leadership of the Party and the strength of the Army in the new era.
The cultural exchange program left many deep impressions in the hearts of officers, soldiers and local people. This is also a cultural activity of profound significance, aiming to encourage and promote the mass cultural and artistic movement of the unit and strengthen the solidarity and attachment between the army and the people.
At Battalion 185, Regiment 213 (Division 363), nearly 600 students of Quang Hanh Kindergarten (Cam Pha City) enthusiastically participated in the extracurricular program Young Soldiers' Sports Festival with the theme "Following the footsteps of Uncle Ho's soldiers".
Through the performance of “Eternal epic” performed by teachers, parents and children of Quang Hanh Kindergarten and officers and soldiers of Battalion 185, the historical process of the Vietnamese people, especially in the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, was re-enacted; affirming the great role of the Vietnam People's Army in the cause of national liberation and national construction.
In addition, children of Quang Hanh Kindergarten also participated in the game "Healthy and Happy Soldiers"; experienced the activities of inspecting the troops, folding blankets, arranging internal affairs, and hygiene of the soldiers...
Along with maintaining strict order of duty, combat readiness, and airspace management, Division 363 has directed units to coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, and twinned units to organize education and propaganda of traditions in many forms: Through a system of billboards, posters, and slogans; internal radio, propaganda on mass media, organizing traditional talks, visiting traditional houses, Ho Chi Minh rooms, and visiting combat-ready units; research competitions, forums, exhibitions, and book introductions...
In addition, agencies and units in the Division also organized many welcoming activities such as: military-civilian solidarity meetings; cultural and sports exchanges; organizing construction of works in training, combat readiness, entertainment, sports, building environmental landscapes, offering incense at memorial houses and martyr cemeteries; launching a general cleaning campaign for village roads and blocks; visiting and giving gifts to encourage families with meritorious services to the revolution, etc.
Practical and meaningful activities in agencies and units of Division 363 have aroused pride, encouraged and motivated officers and soldiers to strive, overcome difficulties, and be determined to excellently complete all assigned tasks; contributed to propagating and strengthening people's belief in "Uncle Ho's soldiers", "Excellent Air Defense - Air Force soldiers", and strengthened military-civilian solidarity.
