Deploying a peak period to ensure order and safety of road, rail and inland waterway traffic

Accordingly, from April 1 to June 1, the Traffic Police Department, along with professional departments and commune-level police, will coordinate to synchronously deploy measures to prevent, stop and strictly handle violations of the law on roads, railways and inland waterways. Police forces will focus on inspecting and reviewing routes with frequent accidents, "black spots" and potential traffic accident spots, areas with many restaurants, eateries, tourist and entertainment venues, industrial parks, industrial clusters, cargo gathering points, warehouses, schools, etc. to synthesize and deploy plans suitable to reality.

The Traffic Police Department coordinates with the Provincial Police Department of Political Affairs to propagate and educate the law on traffic safety and order on social networks such as Facebook, Zalo, etc. to raise awareness and responsibility of traffic participants in complying with traffic laws, traffic rules, and safe traffic skills. Young people who gather, cause public disorder, drive at excessive speeds, weave, swerve, chase each other on the road, race illegally, etc. are monitored and listed for propaganda, education, deterrence, and handling according to the law; at the same time, publicly announce on mass media so that people know about the inspection and handling work.

The leader of the Traffic Police Department said that during the implementation of the peak period to ensure traffic order and safety in the province, the police force will use many professional measures, focusing on violations of alcohol concentration, driving over the speed limit, driving in the wrong direction, and student violations... Regarding the topic of alcohol concentration, the police force will use cameras, and when detecting violations, they will stop and handle them. Feedback from the people and images of violations detected through cameras of households will also be captured, compiled and strictly handled.
