Seven people were killed after a temple in Zaria city, Kaduna state, Nigeria suddenly collapsed on August 11.

Local authorities said the accident happened at a time when hundreds of believers were coming here for afternoon prayers.
Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene to search for victims in the rubble. As a result, they found 7 bodies and many injured people.
Search and rescue work is still underway.
Building collapses are common in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country. The cause is substandard construction materials and poor enforcement of safety regulations.
