In 2016, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Kan province coordinated with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and religious organizations in the province to sign the Coordination Program "Promoting the role of religions in participating in environmental protection and responding to climate change". On the basis of the Coordination Program, the Standing Committees of the Fatherland Front Committees of districts and cities organized the signing of coordination programs with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment at the same level and religious organizations in the area to deploy, propagate, mobilize, and raise awareness of each person, each family, community, religious organizations, enterprises and production and business establishments to grasp and strictly implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on the management and rational use of natural resources and environmental protection, and response to climate change.
