The market for consuming OCOP products in Gia Lai province has become bustling as the Lunar New Year 2025 is approaching, many businesses, establishments, and stores are stepping up production and supplying products to the market to serve customers.
"Race" to serve Tet
These days, Huy Vu Dak Doa Dried Beef One Member Co., Ltd. (Dak Doa district) is rushing to produce dried beef to serve the market for the Lunar New Year 2025. The working atmosphere has become busy for many weeks. Since the beginning of December 2024, the company has proactively contacted its suppliers to calculate the output of dried beef to serve the needs of consumers during Tet.

Ms. Tran Thi Diem Kieu - Director of the Company - said that in addition to selling to wholesalers, the company also has a number of corporate customers who order products as gifts. Therefore, the company has designed eye-catching and luxurious gift boxes to serve customers during Tet. In addition, the company also cooperates with local OCOP entities to create gift baskets including coffee, dried bamboo shoots, pepper, dried beef, etc. to increase customer choices.
“Huy Vu beef jerky products (dried beef strips, dried beef pieces) have achieved 4-star OCOP certification, and are rated as good quality by customers, so the products are available at many OCOP stores in provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Yen Bai. The quality of dried beef depends a lot on the processing method, especially the fresh ingredients. Therefore, the company has to import ingredients every day to make it, not buy frozen ingredients. Normally, the price of ingredients will increase about 1 month before Tet. However, the company still keeps the selling price as usual to ensure the profit margin for stores and agents” – Ms. Kieu added.
