Sa Dec shares experience in building a "Global Learning City" with Bac Giang

DTO - On May 24, in Sa Dec City, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Thap Province Nguyen Thanh Danh and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Sa Dec City Vo Thi Binh received a delegation of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Giang Province led by Deputy Director Nguyen Van Them to exchange experiences in building a learning city.

Ms. Vo Thi Binh - Vice Chairman of Sa Dec City People's Committee shared about the educational development model of Sa Dec City.

At the working session, the Bac Giang delegation was introduced to the educational development model of Sa Dec City, especially initiatives in mobilizing resources, promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a global learning city. Currently, the city has more than 30,000 families achieving the title of "Learning Family" accounting for 94%, 73 "Learning Clans", accounting for 98.7% and maintaining 580 "Self-managed Learning Promotion Groups".

Mr. Nguyen Van Them - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Giang province highly appreciated the achievements of Sa Dec city and wished to learn from its experiences to complete the application to join the UNESCO "Global Learning City" network.
