Lai Chau found the bodies of two victims swept away by flood water

Specifically, on the afternoon of April 14, authorities found the body of the first victim, Lieu A Thanh, a resident of Can Ty 1 village, Ma Quai commune, about 1.5km along the stream from the initial scene.

At 4:40 p.m. on April 15, authorities found the body of the second victim, Lieu A Vu, born in 1998, also residing in Can Ty 1 village, Ma Quai commune, about 10km from the initial scene.

Local authorities visited and encouraged the victims' relatives.

Mr. Tran Van Sung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Sin Ho district, said: "Immediately after receiving information about the accident, the district mobilized more than 200 people and many vehicles to search for the two missing people. However, due to the strong currents, the search encountered many difficulties, leading to a prolonged search."

Currently, the bodies of the two victims have been handed over to their families for burial and support has been provided according to regulations. Representatives of the local government have visited and encouraged the families of the victims.
