For commercial housing projects and urban areas that have been approved in principle to hand over land funds for social housing construction to the State for use in order to assign other organizations to invest in social housing construction but have not yet implemented the handover, the investment policy approval document shall be considered to be adjusted and the investor of that commercial housing project shall be assigned to directly invest in social housing construction with a commitment to complete the procedures to commence construction within 12 months.
People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities, based on their assigned tasks, powers and authority as prescribed, shall promptly complete procedures to approve investment policies and select investors for social housing land funds already included in the planning.
At the same time, continue to review and supplement urban planning and industrial park planning, ensuring sufficient land for social housing development, including worker accommodation and housing for the people's armed forces; strictly implement regulations on land allocation for worker accommodation in industrial parks and 20% of residential land in commercial housing projects and urban areas for investment in social housing development according to the law.
Every quarter, provinces and centrally run cities send reports to the Ministry of Construction for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister before the 25th of the last month of the quarter.
