(Fatherland) - Vietnam Railways has just put into operation the "La Reine" train on the Da Lat - Trai Mat route, bringing passengers many new experiences.
"La Reine", the name of the train that Vietnam Railways Corporation has just officially put into operation since December 24, serving passengers on the Da Lat - Trai Mat route, Lam Dong province.
Mr. Dao Anh Tuan - General Director of the Railway Transport Company said that "La Reine" means "Queen" in French. The carriages are inspired by the architecture of the Nam Phuong Queen Palace, with a luxurious and sophisticated design, a space imbued with classic and romantic qualities, a harmonious combination of French and Indochinese styles, creating luxury and charm.

The train cars are beautifully decorated in purple tones, bringing a sense of peace and romance, very suitable for the beauty of the flower city. Each car is equipped with 36 seats along both sides, making it convenient for visitors to admire the scenery on both sides. Equipped with many modern improvements, especially advanced sanitation systems and high-quality materials, bringing better comfort and hygiene. In particular, the train car has 12-seat luxury compartments, suitable for visitors buying family tickets who want to have their own space.
"The train aims to continue to bring passengers new experiences, meeting the increasing needs of train passengers," Mr. Tuan shared. La Reine train cars are expected to become an attractive tourism product that visitors cannot miss when coming to Da Lat, especially during holidays and Tet.

On this occasion, passengers enjoy many incentives when buying train tickets such as: round-trip tickets are discounted by 25%, group tickets (from 10 people or more) are discounted from 15% to 40% of the ticket price. In addition, passengers are also served artichoke tea, use free wifi and enjoy music performances on the train; 2 pairs of trains running at night are served with additional snacks. Currently, ticket prices range from 80,000 - 170,000 VND/person/trip.
Attending the opening ceremony of the train on the evening of December 24, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc affirmed that the locality is ready to coordinate with the railway industry to gradually upgrade the Da Lat - Trai Mat route, creating a unique product to attract tourists to Da Lat, Lam Dong in the near future.
