Startup projects applying technology in the education sector establish alliances to help share resources to create value chains for the community.
The Vietnam Creative Education Alliance was launched on November 11 with three initial members, including education technology startups Homely Edutech, Dotb and Trobz. The alliance operates under the auspices of the High-Tech Business Incubator (Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park) and Dr. Nguyen Tri Dung, founder of Tri Dung Business School.
At the launch ceremony, Huynh Duc Huy, operator of the Dotb platform and a member of the alliance, said that in the context of a complex economic environment and rapidly changing technology, startup projects always face very high risks when entering the market. In addition, small-scale startups and new products always face difficulties in reaching users to bring their technology solutions to customers. Therefore, startup projects need to gather and link together to take advantage of each other's human resources, technology, and customer base to overcome difficulties in product output. "The alliance was established with the goal of creating common values for startup projects in the education sector," Huy said.

Nguyen Tan Hieu, project manager of Homely Edutech, founding member of the alliance, shared that after more than 10 years of starting a business in the field of educational technology, he always wanted to create a larger value chain for society. For example, in the retail industry, the value chain is created with the stages of investment, transportation, distribution, logistics, infrastructure... However, in the educational technology industry, a large value chain has not been created, mainly only solving one or a few stages.
To do this, he said, there needs to be a connection between all parties operating in the education sector. Accordingly, the creative education alliance not only has the presence of technology businesses but also requires the participation of people operating in this field. "Owners of foreign language centers or people in charge of a kindergarten can be the ones to give the business ideas to apply technology to their operations better. This helps start-up projects shorten the time to approach the problem," Hieu shared. Parties participating in the alliance can share opinions on discussion groups on social networks or organize training programs, experience sharing sessions on education development... to contribute to the community.
In the role of sponsor, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hoai Nam, High-tech Business Incubator (Ho Chi Minh City High-tech Park) highly appreciated the model of creative education alliance, helping to promote the innovative startup ecosystem in the education sector. He said that he will support startup projects in the education sector through incubation packages with activities on improving technological capacity, training human resources, connecting partners to expand the market, protecting intellectual property, etc.
