Following the success of the past 2 years, ClassIn - Sao Khue 2024, one of the world's top 50 educational technology (Edtech) companies voted by GSV in 2020 - continues to organize the 2024 Education Technology Exhibition.
Update new trends and technologies in education
According to the organizer, the 2024 Technology Education Exhibition (CTE) will bring multi-dimensional perspectives and in-depth dialogues on emerging education trends, the potential of artificial intelligence (AI), and the impact of AI on learners in the near future.
With the participation of speakers who are experts, managers, and leading educators, including Mr. Mike Michalec - Founder and CEO of EdTech Asia - a famous EdTech in Singapore; Ms. Nguyen Thuy Uyen Phuong - Founder and CEO of Tomato Kindergarten - Extracurricular School System, Chairwoman of the School Board of I Can School Bilingual School System; Mr. Vo Kim Nghia - General Director of Vietnam English Academy - VIA English Academy; Mr. Bui Anh Phong - CEO of Investidea Tech... CTE promises to be an ideal space to meet, dialogue, share, and exchange experiences for the Vietnamese education community in general.
ClassIn Vietnam representative said that, in addition to modern educational models and solutions from many famous Edtech units that will appear at the exhibition, this year's CTE event promises to bring a lot of useful and updated information about educational trends in the world and in Vietnam, along with practical data and evidence from reliable studies. Experts and guest speakers will also share many perspectives on artificial intelligence, applying technology to design new learning models, online and offline blended education (OMO), and breakthroughs that have been and will be applied in schools in the coming years.
AI and the Future of Education
More than a year since OpenAI launched ChatGPT, the world has undergone many changes in general and has had a significant impact on the education industry in particular. The emergence of AI in recent times has created a global "fever", while posing significant challenges for educators in changing teaching methods, effectively utilizing the potential of AI, helping students equip themselves with the necessary skills to change, adapt to changes in the profession and lead in the future labor market.
In addition, artificial intelligence also plays a strong role in optimizing school management processes, tracking and managing student records. Through machine learning applications, AI systems are able to learn from data sets, analyze and help administrators gain deeper insights into student performance and behavior, thereby making timely decisions to improve student learning outcomes.
Beyond management, AI has the potential to transform the way teaching and learning takes place. Teachers today can use information and data from AI to tailor their teaching to the unique needs of each student. Instead of teaching a single curriculum to all students, teachers can use AI support to enhance supplementary tutoring, use personal chatbots to answer questions, and provide a variety of materials to cater to each student’s specific needs.
At ClassIn, AI Chatbot has been successfully tested and put into teaching, helping to automate the process of answering students' questions without the need for teachers' intervention. ClassIn has also developed new technologies through the application of artificial intelligence such as: AI Collabspace or AI Speaking test - testing the ability to read, pronounce, and communicate natively for readers with high accuracy. It is expected that by 2024, 47% of learning management tools will be enabled by AI capabilities.
Attending CTE 2024, participants will have the opportunity to experience the ClassIn X smart classroom in a more upgraded version: integrating software and hardware to analyze students' lesson participation level, or using voice to activate features without manual operations.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Vu - Director of ClassIn Vietnam commented: “The wave of applying AI to education has become an inevitable trend that sooner or later, no one can stand outside. AI will have a comprehensive impact on all aspects of the education industry, from programs, educational methods, to the role of teachers, teaching and learning organization, access to learning materials, and interaction with students. I believe that if we know how to take advantage of it properly and promptly, AI will be a powerful arm not only for students but also for managers, helping businesses improve the performance and learning experience of students, while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency”.
“It is great to learn new ways to deploy AI and other technologies to operate and teach effectively. This is also the goal of CTE this year, in the spirit of sharing, learning and connecting. The 2024 EdTech Expo will be an opportunity to assess the current state of EdTech usage and identify new opportunities,” said a representative of ClassIn.
The Education Technology Exhibition is an annual event of ClassIn Vietnam, bringing together businesses, units, managers, teachers, and education startups. The exhibition takes place from 8am to 1pm on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Hotel Nikko Saigon (HCMC). Register at: https://classin.vn/trien-lam-cong-nghe-giao-duc-classin-cte-2024/ |
