In the first quarter, the province welcomed more than 4.5 million visitors, of which more than 1,256,863 stayed overnight, up 7.62% over the same period. International visitors alone stayed 76,031 times, up 7.62% over the same period. Total revenue from tourists was more than VND5,083 billion, up 18.71% over the same period, of which accommodation revenue was more than VND1,793 billion, up more than 11% over the same period.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism assessed that the quality of tourism services has been improved, security, order and fire prevention at tourism businesses have been ensured, there has been no solicitation, competition for customers or unusual price increases, affecting the image of local tourism. The number of visitors to the province tends to prioritize short-term, economical travel programs, so tourism revenue is still modest, and tourists' spending and length of stay at tourist accommodation facilities are not high. International visitors have also grown but still account for a very low market share in the total structure of visitors to the province.
