Coffee price forecast August 13, 2024: Affected by many factors, coffee prices continue to decrease Coffee price forecast August 14, 2024: Are weather concerns in Brazil pushing coffee prices up sharply again?

Coffee prices are forecast to increase again in the domestic market on August 16, 2024. According to the General Department of Customs, in July 2024, Vietnam exported 76,982 tons of coffee, earning 381.17 million USD, up 9.7% in volume and 18.2% in value compared to June. In the first 7 months, coffee exports reached 979,353 tons, worth 3.61 billion USD, down 12.4% in volume but up sharply 33.5% in value thanks to the current coffee price having increased nearly 2.5 times compared to the same period last year.

The Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA) said that Vietnam currently has only about 148,000 tons of coffee left to export in the remaining 2 months of the 2023-2024 crop year (from August 2024 to the end of September 2024). Meanwhile, the new crop will not start harvesting until October 2024.

The limited supply may push the coffee price in the world market to continue to increase in the coming time. In addition to the price factor, the market factor is also favorable.
