Bac Kan College organizes a seminar on youth and vocational education
The province has paid attention to reviewing, arranging, and innovating the organization and management system of vocational education institutions in the province in the direction of streamlining the apparatus, reducing focal points, increasing scale, improving training quality and efficiency. Currently, in the province, there are 16 vocational education institutions and enterprises participating in vocational education activities, including 1 college, 2 secondary schools, 7 vocational education - continuing education centers at the district level and 6 enterprises participating in vocational education activities.
Vocational education institutions conduct training, fostering, standardizing and developing a team of teachers and vocational education managers to meet the requirements of innovation and improving the quality of vocational education; pay attention to building new and adjusting training programs based on the requirements of the labor market and the training needs of workers.
The quality of vocational training has been gradually improved. In the period 2021 - 2024, the whole province has provided vocational training for 32,599 people, of which 87 are college level; 2,254 are intermediate level; 6,385 are elementary level; and 23,873 are vocational training under 3 months.
In vocational training, vocational training institutions pay attention to connecting with businesses and the labor market; vocational training is linked to job creation. Through training cooperation programs, human resource supply between businesses and vocational training institutions has helped teachers and students access and directly participate in production at businesses, thereby training, supplementing and improving vocational skills; at the same time increasing employment opportunities for students after completing the course. According to statistics, after vocational training, about 70% of workers have jobs or continue to do their old jobs but with higher productivity and quality.
In 2025, the province's goal is to enroll 6,000 people in vocational training, of which Bac Kan College will train 340 people (60 people at college level, 280 people at intermediate level); the Department of Education and Training will train 5,660 people (of which 3,000 people will be trained for rural workers). Strive to bring the rate of trained workers in the province to 50% or more by 2025.
Accordingly, the province will focus on mobilizing investment resources and supporting vocational education from the National Target Programs for the 2021-2025 period and other programs and projects.

Direct vocational training institutions to continue improving training quality; strengthen training links with businesses according to orders; coordinate with businesses to recruit, train and recruit workers after training; focus on training links with large and reputable vocational training institutions outside the province to train high-quality workers, meeting the requirements of investors, businesses in the area and international integration.
Along with vocational training for rural workers, organize regular training and retraining for workers, especially training in working skills, discipline, and industrial style in the new situation. At the same time, strengthen vocational training activities for ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups in society; support vocational training for young people who have completed their military service, police service, and young volunteers who have completed their tasks of implementing socio-economic development programs and projects, etc.
Along with that, promote propaganda to raise people's and society's awareness of skilled labor; actively transform digitally, apply information technology to state management of vocational education; enhance the capacity of cadres and civil servants doing state management of vocational education in a modern direction; build a favorable environment to support foreign language teaching and learning activities; promote the implementation of autonomy of vocational education institutions.
Implement the connection between labor supply and demand with vocational education. Form a close relationship between vocational education institutions and the Provincial Employment Service Center. Regularly organize online job fairs for students to get acquainted with the labor market, ready to enter the labor market immediately after graduation; diversify forms of consultation, expand the forms of "job exchanges", "Job Fairs"... to support learners to find jobs after graduation.../.
