Quang Tri has a new Provincial Party Secretary

On the afternoon of December 9, the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo's decision on personnel work. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai ceased participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and ceased holding the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc for the 2020-2025 term.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision on appointing Mr. Nguyen Long Hai to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee.

The Politburo assigned Mr. Nguyen Long Hai to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and appointed him to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 4 for the 2020-2025 term.

At the ceremony, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung said that Mr. Nguyen Long Hai received basic training, is a doctor of law, and grew up from the grassroots.

In all his positions, Mr. Hai always completed his assigned tasks well, making important contributions to the achievements of his workplace.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai promised to devote himself wholeheartedly to the common work, strive to train, promote solidarity and unity, seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and concentrate highly on completing assigned tasks.

Previously, Mr. Le Quang Tung, Secretary of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, was elected by the National Assembly as a member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and Secretary General of the National Assembly.

Mr. Nguyen Long Hai (48 years old), from Phu Tho province; professional qualification: PhD in Law; political theory qualification: advanced.

Mr. Nguyen Long Hai used to hold the positions of Deputy Chief of Office and then Chief of Office of the Central Youth Union; Secretary of the Central Youth Union Executive Committee; Chairman of the Central Youth Union Inspection Committee; Permanent Deputy Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth; General Secretary of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth; Chairman of the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province; Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province.

From 2021 to present, Mr. Hai is an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc for the 2020-2025 term.
