Quang Ninh welcomed over 455,000 visitors, earning over 1,000 billion VND during the September 2 holiday

During the 4-day holiday from August 31 to September 3, tourist attractions in Quang Ninh continued to attract a large number of visitors to visit and experience. The total number of tourists to Quang Ninh was over 455,000, reaching 119% over the same period in 2023; total tourism revenue is estimated at VND 1,033 billion, reaching 131% over the same period in 2023.

Sun World Ha Long beach attracts many people and tourists during holidays.

Of which, the total number of guests staying reached 174,200, reaching 116% over the same period last year, accounting for 37% of the total number of visitors to Quang Ninh . Notably, the room occupancy rate from August 31 to September 2, 2024 at 4-5 star tourist accommodation establishments and equivalent reached about 80-90%; other accommodation establishments reached about 45-55%. Particularly on August 31 and September 1, some localities across the province had room occupancy rates of 80-90% such as: Co To, Mong Cai, Quan Lan, Minh Chau and Ha Long city...

Number of tourists at some tourist areas and destinations during the holidays: Ha Long Bay 46,260 visitors (of which international visitors to the bay are about 12,244); Sun World Park about 37,000 visitors, Quang Ninh Museum 21,293 visitors, Yen Tu scenic relic site about 4,900 visitors, Ba Vang Pagoda about 12,700 visitors, Cua Ong Temple 3,120 visitors; Quang Ninh Gate tourist site about 2,880 visitors; Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh hot spring area about 2,950 visitors, Cai Chien island about 5,400 visitors; international tourists entering through Mong Cai border gate 14,263 visitors...

To ensure absolute safety for people and tourists when visiting and traveling, Quang Ninh province has developed and implemented synchronous plans to ensure: security and order; accommodation services; ready facilities at resort systems, hotels, motels, homestays, etc.

In 2024, Quang Ninh plans to organize 186 cultural , sports and tourism events and activities at international, national and provincial levels to achieve the goal of welcoming about 19 million visitors in 2024.
