Provincial police train on protecting state secrets

(VLO) Implementing the plan of the Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee on the work of protecting State secrets (SPS) in 2025 in the province, on the morning of March 28, at the Hall of Vinh Long Power Company, the Department of Internal Political Security, the Provincial Police (Standing Agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for SPS Protection) and the Department of Cyber ​​Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention and Control coordinated with Vinh Long Power Company to organize a training conference on SPS protection for more than 100 delegates who are cadres, managers, and employees working on SPS protection at units under Vinh Long Power Company.

At the conference, the reporters of the two provincial police units discussed and conveyed contents related to 4 topics: Risk of revealing and losing state secrets and issues arising in the work of protecting state secrets in the current situation; Work of protecting state secrets in cyberspace; Key issues in the process of drafting, identifying and issuing documents containing state secrets; Issues that need attention in implementing the provisions of the Law on Protecting State Secrets and documents guiding its implementation. At the same time, they discussed and answered the difficulties and problems of delegates related to the work of protecting state secrets.

The training conference aims to help delegates grasp the regulations and legal knowledge on national security protection, professional skills in implementing the procedures and regulations on national security protection, contributing to raising the vigilance of officials, leaders and employees of the Electricity sector; proactively prevent and overcome loopholes and shortcomings in the implementation of this work; and not let state secrets be leaked or lost in the future.
