According to the report of the Provincial People's Committee, in 2024, the whole province had strong direction from all levels and sectors to integrate health insurance card data into the VNeID system, helping to form an electronic health book for the people. However, the results achieved are still modest, with the rate of forming a new electronic health book reaching 9.53% and the rate of integrating health insurance cards on the VNeID application reaching only 16.9%.
To overcome this situation, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province aims to increase the rate of health insurance card integration and complete the electronic health book for more than 80% of the local population. Specifically, medical examination and treatment facilities will have to ensure that people's medical data is fully updated into the system, including tests, indicators to be monitored, medications, and surgeries performed.
The Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Health to direct medical examination and treatment facilities to strictly implement the connection of medical examination and treatment data with the social insurance database, in order to create conditions for people to use the Electronic Health Book on the VNeID application.
The Department of Information and Communications coordinates with media agencies to promote the benefits of using Electronic Health Books and issuing Criminal Records via the VNeID application.
Provincial police and local authorities at all levels participate in propaganda work, instructing people to register and activate level 2 electronic identification accounts, and integrate health insurance cards on VNeID.
Regarding the issuance of Criminal Records, the Provincial People's Committee also directed the relevant agencies to implement the process of issuing electronic Criminal Records via the VNeID application. This is an important step in simplifying administrative procedures, helping citizens easily access and use legal services.
Local agencies and units will strengthen coordination to ensure implementation progress and resolve difficulties and problems arising during implementation. The goal is to increase the rate of service usage, bringing practical benefits to the people and local authorities.
