Accordingly, the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities direct and approve enrollment plans for kindergartens, grades 1 and 6 in the area. In particular, enrollment for grade 6 is implemented according to the enrollment plan issued by the Department of Education and Training.

As for the enrollment of grade 6 students at the ethnic boarding school of each district, students in that district will be recruited based on the final exam scores of the school year in Math and Vietnamese. The enrollment period will be completed in June 2025.

For admission to grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools, the entrance exam (3 subjects: Math, Literature, English) is combined with the admission based on the results of training and studying in 4 years of secondary school of the students. Specialized high schools organize entrance exams, in addition to the 3 general subjects: Math, Literature, English, there is also a specialized subject exam.

Exam schedule, June 3 and morning of June 4, 2025, general subjects (Literature, Math, English) for all candidates taking the exam for non-specialized public high schools, specialized high schools, and Quang Nam province's Ethnic Minority Boarding High Schools. June 4, 2025 afternoon and June 5, 2025, specialized subjects for candidates taking the exam for specialized high schools.

This is the first year Quang Nam has changed the method of admission to non-specialized grade 10, from selection to combined selection and examination; at the same time, allowing candidates to apply for 2 choices. The goal is to improve the quality of admission to grade 10.

The admission score for grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools is the total score of 3 exam subjects and the score of training and learning results in 4 years of secondary school (maximum of 10 points). The admission score for specialized high schools is the total score of 3 general exam subjects and the specialized subject score (coefficient of 3).

Notably, admission is only given to candidates who have taken all the required exams and have a minimum score. In particular, for non-specialized public high schools: no exam has a score of 0 (zero); specialized high schools: each general exam has a score of 2.0 or higher, each specialized exam has a score of 3.0 or higher; for Quang Nam Provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities: each exam has a score of 1.0 or higher.

Regarding enrollment targets, non-specialized public high schools, based on the scale of the school, teaching staff, facilities, equipment, and other necessary conditions for teaching and learning according to regulations and balanced with the general enrollment rate of the district-level localities, the Department of Education and Training submits to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of the enrollment targets for grade 10 for each non-specialized public high school.

For Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted and Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted, each school has 9 specialized classes and each specialized class enrolls no more than 35 students. Quang Nam Province Ethnic Minority Boarding High School enrolls 175 students, of which 158 are ethnic minority students.
