These events are part of the annual festival series of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), which invites international artists, including Vietnamese, to perform and introduce their country's cultural heritage through performances such as the folk dance "Trông cơm" of the Northern Delta, the quan họ singing "Mội nước hỏi trau" and the Chau van singing "Cô Đôi Thượng Ngàn"...
All expenses for the artist group in India are covered by ICCR.

During the trip, the art troupes also participated in many meaningful sideline activities, including cultural exchanges with other international art troupes, visits to famous Indian landmarks and friendly meetings with local officials. These experiences not only helped to broaden understanding of Indian culture but also strengthened the friendly relationship between the two countries and peoples.
Warm friendship, understanding and closeness between the people of the two countries are the key elements in the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Vietnam. SVCC, Embassy of India in Hanoi, together with ICCR – New Delhi, Ministry of Culture of India and the Indian state governments will continue to promote bilateral cultural exchanges and strengthen people-to-people ties towards a stronger Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
