On May 30-31, electricity consumption reached 302.89 million kWh and 310.88 million kWh, respectively. Previously, on May 22, electricity consumption in the North reached a peak of 313.63 million kWh, 45.9 million kWh higher than the same period in 2022 (equivalent to an increase of 17.18%).
EVNNPC said that power companies have been making every effort to provide electricity to customers, increasing 100% of human resources, equipment and being on duty 24/7, but at some point it may be unavoidable to have power supply interruptions.
EVNNPC recommends that people, offices and production facilities proactively apply electricity saving solutions, especially during peak hours at noon and in the evening. Specifically, noon from 10:00 to 14:00; evening from 20:00 to 23:00; use air conditioning reasonably (set at 26 degrees Celsius or higher, use in combination with cooling fans) and should not use many high-capacity electrical devices at the same time.
