Phu Tho: Building Hung Vuong Tower in the center of Viet Tri city

Hung Vuong Tower is one of 6 important project groups in the Plan for preserving and promoting the value of the Hung Temple historical relic site in Phu Tho province until 2025, approved by the Prime Minister.

To implement the project, recently the People's Committee of Phu Tho province has issued a policy on studying the planning and architectural plan for building Hung Vuong Tower in the Central Market area (old), Viet Tri city.

According to the policy, Hung Vuong Tower is being researched and built with the function of public services, cultural space, trees... creating environmental landscape, serving the people in the long term future.

Hung Vuong Tower is expected to have beautiful landscape architecture, symbolic and a highlight of Phu Tho province; bearing the cultural and historical imprints of the Hung Vuong era, contributing to building Viet Tri city into a festival city returning to the origins of Vietnamese ethnic groups.

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned Viet Tri city to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Construction and relevant agencies and units to organize a competition for planning and architectural plans for the construction of Hung Vuong Tower according to current regulations; report to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision before June 30, 2025.

Hung Vuong Tower project is expected to be funded by the State budget, socialized capital and other legally mobilized capital sources.

According to the leader of the Hung Temple Historical Relic Management Board, Hung Vuong Tower was built to honor the contributions of the Hung Kings who founded the country, contributing to educating patriotism and looking back to one's roots.

The tower is also a symbol of the nation's construction and defense, the longevity of the Vietnamese people and the consolidation of national solidarity in building and defending the Fatherland. This is also a place to preserve and introduce treasures of the Hung King era, rare items from localities throughout the country...

To serve the project, the People's Committee of Phu Tho province previously organized many seminars to collect opinions from experts and researchers on the idea of ​​building Hung Vuong Tower; at the same time, launched and awarded prizes for the architectural design idea contests of Hung Vuong Tower./.
