Based on the discussion, Phu Ninh District Party Committee also unanimously approved the decision to establish Phu Thinh Town Party Committee after the merger; decided to transfer the Party organization and Party members of Tam Vinh commune and Phu Thinh town.
According to the project to reorganize the party organization presented at the conference, the entire number of party organizations and party members of the Phu Thinh town Party Committee and the Tam Vinh commune Party Committee will be merged to establish the Phu Thinh town Party Committee (the name of the newly established town Party Committee will be taken from the name of the new administrative unit according to the provisions of Resolution No. 1241, dated October 24, 2024 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district-level and commune-level administrative units in Quang Nam province for the period 2023 - 2025).
The congress number for the 2020 - 2025 term of the Phu Thinh Town Party Committee (new) is XI. The workplace is the current headquarters of the Phu Thinh Town Party Committee.
After the merger, Phu Thinh Town Party Committee has 16 subordinate Party cells and 353 Party members. Thus, since Resolution 1241 of the National Assembly Standing Committee took effect (January 1, 2025), Phu Ninh District Party Committee has 51 subordinate Party grassroots organizations.
Of which, there are 13 grassroots party committees (reduced by 1 commune-level party committee; 3 party cells directly under commune-level party committees) and 38 grassroots party cells; there are 124 party cells directly under grassroots party committees. The whole district has 3,088 party members.
Mr. Vu Van Tham - Secretary of Phu Ninh District Party Committee said that from January 1, 2025, the procedures for establishing the new Phu Thinh Town Party Committee will be completed, and the procedures for transferring the Party organization and Party members will be completed. Basically, the arrangement and consolidation of the Party organization will be completed, and the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the new Party organization will be made according to the prescribed authority.
