Nha Trang's "Western Street" is one of the most popular tourist destinations for both domestic and foreign tourists. This street stretches for several kilometers, located along the streets of Tran Phu, Hung Vuong, Biet Thu, Tran Quang Khai and Nguyen Thien Thuat.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, these routes were known as "entertainment paradises" in the coastal city, because international tourists came and went busily, and bars and restaurants sprung up close together.

However, when the Covid-19 epidemic broke out until the epidemic was controlled, this neighborhood fell into a desolate and deserted situation, with many premises hanging signs for rent or transfer.

According to the reporter's records, in the past 2 months, the Western quarter of Nha Trang has shown signs of revival, many restaurants and bars have turned on their lights again, and the streets have become more bustling and crowded. This is thanks to a large number of international visitors, especially Korean visitors to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, which has increased sharply in recent times.

Most of them are tourists from Korea. According to Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, in 2023 Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa welcomed 2.1 million international visitors. Of which, Korea continues to be the leading international market, with 1.3 million visitors, accounting for 56% of the total number of international visitors to Khanh Hoa. Among them, there are many famous actors, singers, and models from the land of Kim Chi.

Mr. Do Thanh Quan, owner of Luong Son Cang restaurant on Hung Vuong street, said that more than 90% of customers coming to his restaurant are Korean. "Compared to last year, in 2023, the number of Korean customers coming to my restaurant has increased a lot. They especially love seafood in Nha Trang because of its freshness and reasonable prices. In addition, they also love the scenery and climate here," Mr. Quan shared.

Nguyen Thien Thuat Street is also a famous street in the Western quarter of Nha Trang. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, this street was extremely bustling with a series of restaurants and bars located close together, always lit up until late at night. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out until it was controlled, this street has become deserted, a series of premises with signs for sale and rent have appeared everywhere. In the past 2 months, this Western quarter has shown signs of revival, many bars and restaurants have reopened, and more and more customers are coming.

According to the reporter's observation, although there are still some premises here with signs for rent, it has decreased a lot compared to before. Most of the guests coming here are from Korea and Russia.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Quang, owner of a restaurant on Nguyen Thien Thuat Street, said that for about 2 months now, the restaurant's business situation has improved, with more customers than before, in contrast to the gloomy image before. "For the past two years, I have only been selling a little bit, holding on to limit losses, but the situation is better now. Before the pandemic, the customers were mainly Chinese and Russian, but now the majority are Korean customers and a few Russian customers," said Mr. Quang.
