Yen Bai - In the spirit of the national military enlistment day, on the morning of February 13, in Yen Binh district, comrade Ta Van Long - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Yen Bai province attended the military enlistment ceremony, encouraging young men to join the army.

In 2025, Yen Binh district selected 210 outstanding young people representing the young generation to join the army. Of these, 175 citizens were assigned to military units and 35 citizens were assigned to police units. 100% of the new recruits who joined the army this time were in good health, of which nearly 50% had a 12th grade education, nearly 3% had intermediate, college, or university education. 41 citizens volunteered to join the army, 86 new recruits were admitted to the Party on February 3.

The new recruits were assigned to the following units: Regiment 98 (Division 316); Brigade 297 (Military Region 2); Battalion 39 (General Staff); Brigade 144 (General Staff) and the Ministry of Public Security. These are typical units with a tradition in combat readiness training, and are reliable addresses for educating and training young people to mature in all aspects.

After the flag-raising ceremony, lighting the traditional fire and beating the drums to mark the military enlistment, Chairman of Yen Binh District People's Committee Tran Viet Quy gave a speech to encourage and commend 210 young men who strictly followed the call-up order, showed up in full numbers and on time. These are all young men who meet the standards of political qualities, health and cultural level. He said: The work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in the district every year always reaches 100% of the target assigned by superiors; the quality of young men joining the army has been improved.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee believes that the new recruits will uphold the revolutionary tradition of the heroic homeland, constantly strive to study, train and cultivate themselves to become people's police soldiers, "Uncle Ho's soldiers"; successfully complete the sacred task of preserving and protecting the country, contributing to continuing the glorious tradition of the army and people in the district.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee said: Yen Binh district will continue to pay attention to and take good care of implementing the military rear policy, helping military families, especially those in difficult circumstances, develop the economy, stabilize their lives; focus on solving jobs for soldiers when they complete their service and return to their localities.

Next, representatives of the new recruits expressed their thanks for the attention of the Party Committee and local authorities and expressed their high determination for the new tasks, vowing to strive to contribute, ready to receive and excellently complete all sacred tasks assigned by the Party and State, worthy of the affection and expectations of the Party Committee, local authorities and families.

After the military handover ceremony, provincial leaders, representatives of departments, branches and Yen Binh district presented flowers, encouraged and expressed their belief that the new recruits would always uphold the revolutionary tradition of their homeland, strive, cultivate and train to become good soldiers, worthy of the heroic tradition of the army, of their homeland and country.
