Attending the military handover ceremony were comrade Nguyen The Phuoc - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Provincial Military Command, leaders of provincial departments and branches; leaders of Luc Yen district and representatives of military receiving units.
In 2025, Luc Yen was assigned to select 175 citizens to perform military service and assign them to the following units: Brigade 144 of the General Staff, Brigade 297, Division 316 of Military Region 2; Border Guard Command and 34 citizens assigned to Yen Bai Provincial Police.
In the process of carrying out the task of recruiting soldiers, the District Military Service Council has done well in all stages and steps in selecting and calling citizens to join the army in accordance with regulations, ensuring democracy, objectivity, fairness and compliance with the law. All new recruits meet the requirements of moral qualities, cultural level and health.
Among the young people recruited for military service this time, 108 citizens volunteered to join the army, 39 citizens are party members (of which 20 party members participated in military service, 19 party members participated in public security service).
At the ceremony, the district leaders lit the traditional fire, beat the drum to open the military enlistment ceremony and gave a speech assigning tasks to the new recruits to go to defend the Fatherland. Sharing their feelings at the military enlistment ceremony, representatives of the district's 209 outstanding citizens who will join the army in 2025 affirmed that they will continuously strive to study, train, and be ready to accept any task when the Fatherland needs them.
On behalf of the receiving units, the Head of the Border Guard Command Training Center welcomed the outstanding young men and hoped that the locality and family would continue to accompany, care for, and create favorable conditions for the new recruits to study, train, and mature in the new environment.
