Yen Bai - On the morning of February 13, together with localities across the province, Yen Bai city held the 2025 military enlistment ceremony, sending off the homeland's outstanding sons to their duty of protecting the Fatherland.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Tran Huy Tuan - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee; Colonel Tran Cong Ung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; comrade Do Duc Minh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the Yen Bai City Party Committee, along with leaders of provincial departments and branches, leaders and people of Yen Bai city.

Promoting the tradition of being a unit that always excellently completes the task of recruiting soldiers, ensuring democracy, transparency, lawfulness and social justice, in 2025, the Military Service Council (NVQS) from the city to the grassroots level worked with a high sense of responsibility, selecting and assigning to the army and police 82 citizens who met the standards of politics, ethics, culture, health, completing 100% of the assigned targets and ensuring the reserve force. Communes, wards, agencies, departments, branches and organizations have paid attention to creating all conditions, quickly completing the procedural documents, organizing meetings and encouraging young people before leaving for military service.

In particular, this year, the city has directed the organization of a series of activities to send off friends to the army in 2025, creating more motivation and spirit for young people to be confident and secure in their duty to protect the Fatherland and participate in the People's Public Security Service.

Thanks to that, the city has had 50 citizens participating in military service handed over to Division 304, Military Region 2 and Brigade 297; 32 citizens participating in People's Public Security service.

Provincial Party Secretary Tran Huy Tuan presented flowers and congratulated and encouraged new recruits before leaving for military service.

This year, in addition to health standards, the City Military Service Council continues to focus on coordinating to improve the quality of political standards, creating a source of Party development work for citizens joining the army with 10 new recruits who are Party members, 20 new recruits volunteering to write applications to go on duty to protect the Fatherland.

The new recruits were excited to leave for military service.

Presenting flowers to encourage the new recruits to set out on their mission to build and protect the Fatherland, Comrade Tran Huy Tuan - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his belief that each new recruit will be deeply aware of the noble responsibility of a citizen to join the armed forces to protect the Fatherland, protect security and order for the peaceful and happy life of the people. At the same time, he hoped that the new recruits will promote the heroic tradition of their homeland and country; constantly strive, train, and be determined to excellently complete all assigned tasks under any circumstances.
