Promote the role of self-management in building a united, prosperous and happy residential area

NDO - Towards the 94th anniversary of the National United Front Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), on November 2, comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission came to celebrate and attend the "National Great Unity Day" with the people of Phu Hoa 2 hamlet, Binh Hoa commune, Chau Thanh district, An Giang province.

Also attending were comrade Le Hong Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee; comrade Ho Van Mung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; representatives of departments, agencies, organizations, intellectuals and a large number of local people.

According to the representative of Phu Hoa 2 Hamlet, the whole hamlet has 1,055 households with 4,868 people, 70% of the population lives on farming. In the past year, the hamlet mobilized 144 gifts for poor and near-poor households to celebrate Tet; presented gifts to 5 families of young men leaving for military service in 2024.

Phu Hoa 2 hamlet charity group organized to build 4 new houses for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in the hamlet, repaired 2 houses with a total amount of more than 117 million VND; mobilized people to spread crushed stone on rural roads in the hamlet for 1.7 km.

In the hamlet, there are many economic development models with high efficiency, such as: Soft net craft village, mushroom growing and effective production of 600,000 mushroom spawns annually. Craft villages solve the problem of idle labor in the locality.

The Hamlet Front Committee also organizes propaganda and mobilizes people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Especially associated with the content of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", propaganda on crime prevention, traffic safety - security and order...

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac expressed his joy when coming to join in the joy and attend the Great Unity Day with the people; acknowledging the positive steps of the locality in caring for and improving the lives of the people with economic and social development and joining hands in building new rural areas.

Practice and promote democracy, listen to the people, be active, proactive and truly care about resolving the people's legitimate and legal aspirations and pressing issues; effectively implement the motto "people know, people discuss, people inspect, people supervise and people benefit".

Continue to promote the results, experiences and lessons learned in the past to more effectively organize and implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

Promoting the self-governing role of the people in building a united, prosperous and happy residential area launched by the Fatherland Front is closely linked with emulation movements and major campaigns of the whole country such as "the whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind", "a warm home for my compatriots" to create strength and trust for the people to actively respond and participate.

Mobilize and effectively use the Fund "For the poor - social security", activities of Phu Hoa 2 Charity Group, determined to have no more poor households, near-poor households, strive to have many well-off and rich households.

Building a new cultural lifestyle, preserving and promoting the nation's fine cultural traditions, striving for 100% of households to achieve the status of cultural families; continuing to promote the tradition of mutual love and care, paying attention to policy families and families in difficult circumstances.

Comrade Phan Dinh Trac hopes that people will promote the movement of studiousness, encouragement of learning, and encouragement of talents in each family and community; maintain the mobilization of 100% of school-age children to go to school, no students drop out of school; strive to have many students pass university and college entrance exams to eliminate poverty, get rich, and contribute more to building the homeland and the country.

At the festival, comrade Phan Dinh Trac presented gifts to the Front Working Committee of Phu Hoa 2 hamlet; presented 105 gifts to policy families, households in difficult circumstances and presented 100 bicycles to students in Chau Thanh district.

On the same day, comrade Phan Dinh Trac and the delegation went to the President Ton Duc Thang Memorial Site in My Hoa Hung Commune, Long Xuyen City to offer incense and burn incense in respectful memory of Uncle Ton; and visited the stilt house of President Ton Duc Thang in the grounds of the memorial site.

He and his delegation went to Ba Chuc town, Tri Ton district, visited the national historical site of Ba Chuc tomb house; and visited the Central Executive Committee of Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association.

The delegation also went to Luong Phi commune, Tri Ton district to visit Sa Lon pagoda and Venerable Chau Son Hy, abbot of Sa Lon pagoda; visited Quang Duc pagoda, visited the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of An Giang province in My Binh ward, Long Xuyen city.

At the places he visited, comrade Phan Dinh Trac visited, presented gifts, and expressed his joy at the local development and the increasingly improved lives of people of all ethnic groups and religions. He affirmed that the Party and State always consistently implement the policy of great national unity, respect and ensure the people's freedom of belief and religion and freedom of non-belief and religion.
