Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Van Buoi said that after 4 years of implementing Plan No. 3004 of the Provincial People's Committee, the high-tech farming area has reached 3,633 hectares. The annual high-tech output reaches 90,000 tons, accounting for 50% of the province's brackish water shrimp farming output, the value brought to the shrimp industry annually reaches more than 18,030 billion VND (of which the value of high-tech shrimp production reaches 10,830 billion VND). The average productivity of high-tech shrimp farming reaches 40 - 60 tons, especially some households produce 70 - 80 tons/ha of water surface. The average profit reaches 600 - 700 million VND.

Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Van Buoi said that the implementation of the plan for 4,000 hectares of high-tech shrimp must be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2025.
According to the Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Provincial People's Committee has directed that by the second quarter of 2025, the entire province must complete 4,000 hectares of high-tech shrimp farming according to Plan No. 3004 of the Provincial People's Committee. The goal by 2030 is to form 5 high-tech shrimp farming areas invested by enterprises in 3 coastal districts.
