On the afternoon of April 16, at the Hoiana complex resort, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province coordinated with relevant units to hold a press conference to announce the 2024 tourism stimulus program with the theme "Quang Nam - green heritage land" to continue attracting domestic and international tourists; promote tourism business activities, contributing to achieving the planned targets set in 2024; aiming to develop green, effective and sustainable tourism; promote communication and promote the image of Quang Nam green tourism.
The tourism stimulus program takes place from May to November 2024, with the participation of more than 100 tourism businesses in Quang Nam province.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province said that the program includes 2 phases: phase 1 "Quang Nam - summer emotions" from May to August 2024 and phase 2 "Quang Nam Golden Season" from September to the end of November 2024.
The program was officially launched with a total incentive value of nearly 10 billion VND (not including the price of products and services reduced by 15-30%: food, entertainment, railways...).
"The 2024 tourism stimulus program "Quang Nam - green heritage land" promises to bring many interesting and new experiences to tourists, especially during the upcoming long holidays of April 30 and May 1; thereby contributing to promoting business brands and effectively exploiting tourist markets to Quang Nam," said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong.

Mr. Ha Van Sieu - Deputy Director of Vietnam National Tourism Administration mentioned the event that Vietnam National Tourism Administration launched a campaign to stimulate Vietnamese people to travel to Vietnam called "Vietnam I love" at the end of March in Da Nang.
Mr. Ha Van Sieu said that stimulating tourism demand at the present time is very important to achieve the goal of welcoming 18 million international visitors, serving 110 million domestic visitors, total tourism revenue reaching 850,000 billion VND, and completely restoring tourism as before COVID-19.
"The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism calls for enthusiastic response from localities, associations, businesses, tourism businesses, airlines, tourism transport businesses, etc. to coordinate and build new, unique, creative, and quality tourism stimulus packages to attract people to travel and promote bustling and vibrant summer tourism activities in 2024," said Mr. Ha Van Sieu.

In addition to sea and island tourism, which is a characteristic of the provinces and cities in the South Central Coast region, as oriented by the Government in the Vietnam Tourism Development Strategy to 2020 and vision to 2030, Quang Nam also possesses outstanding cultural tourism products, including two world cultural heritages: Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary and the Cu Lao Cham World Biosphere Reserve. With the advantage of combining nature and cultural heritage, Quang Nam is always a destination chosen by many domestic and international tourists to explore.
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism highly appreciated the initiative of Quang Nam province in dividing tourism stimulus into two phases according to the season with suitable experience packages. In particular, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam province has promoted its connecting role, together with the Tourism Association and travel agencies, hotels, and transportation units to join hands to stimulate tourism with attractive product packages.
Mr. Ha Van Sieu emphasized: Vietnam National Tourism Administration recommends that the localities of Quang Nam, Da Nang, and Thua Thien Hue strongly promote existing regional tourism development linkages, demand stimulation alliances between localities - enterprises and enterprises to quickly deploy quality and attractive product and service combo programs.

According to Mr. Steven Wolstenholme - Chairman and General Director of Hoiana Resort & Golf, this year, domestic tourism may face some difficulties as domestic air transport costs increase.
