Two Lam Dong students won high prizes at the Southern Liberation Day Postage Stamp Collection and Research Contest

The Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to individuals.

This year’s contest has a particularly profound meaning, focusing on the important historical lessons of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign and the resistance war against the US to save the country. The Organizing Committee hopes that through this activity, students will consolidate their knowledge of the talented leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh and the spirit of great national unity - the key factor that made the historic victory in the Spring of 1975. At the same time, the contest contributes to raising the sense of responsibility of the younger generation in protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

After more than 4 months of launching, the contest has attracted millions of students nationwide to participate with many creative entries and diverse forms of expression. The entries are all closely related to the theme, demonstrating elaborate investment and collection of many valuable and rare stamps, becoming vivid evidence for the content.

From more than 1.1 million entries, the Organizing Committee and the Jury selected and awarded prizes to 25 groups and 76 individuals in the primary and secondary school categories. The prize structure for each category includes 1 Special Prize, 2 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 10 Third Prizes and 20 Encouragement Prizes, with a total prize value of more than 100 million VND.

Lam Dong has two excellent students honored with 1 First prize belonging to Bui Khanh Duy - 5th grade student of Trung Vuong Primary School, Da Lat City and Bui Nhat Linh - 5th grade student of Phan Nhu Thach Primary School, Da Lat City, won 3rd prize.

This achievement is not only the pride of the two students and their families but also a recognition of the comprehensive education work, inspiring love of history and national culture in the young generation of Lam Dong province.

Trung Vuong Primary School - Da Lat is also known as an active unit implementing and achieving impressive results in this competition for 2 consecutive years (in 2024, a student won third prize).
