Developing multi-value integrated models in agricultural production

In 2023, the agricultural sector, together with localities, drastically implemented solutions and successfully organized production with the highest productivity ever. The growth rate of the agricultural, forestry and fishery sector reached 5.41%, exceeding the set plan; grain output reached 30.59 million tons, reaching 117.65% of the plan; meat output reached more than 59,083 tons, reaching 101% of the plan; the concentrated forestation area is estimated at 11,500 hectares, reaching 153% of the plan... By the end of 2023, 74/101 communes met new rural standards (NTM), of which 12 communes met advanced NTM standards. Hai Lang and Trieu Phong districts basically completed the criteria for NTM districts.

With the goal of developing sustainable agriculture on the basis of mobilizing and integrating resources, focusing on comprehensively directing restructuring solutions in all areas of the agricultural sector, in 2024, the agricultural and rural development sector sets a target of striving for a growth rate of 2.5% - 3%.

Focus on innovating production organization methods from agricultural production to agricultural economy. Focus on attracting joint ventures and joint investment in agriculture and rural areas. Encourage agricultural development according to value chains, organic agriculture, high technology, and meeting quality standards.

Strengthen coordination between departments, sectors and localities in disease and disaster prevention, ensuring food safety and hygiene for agricultural products.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong requested the agricultural sector to promptly take the initiative and be flexible in directing and organizing production, implementing plans to respond to natural disasters, epidemics, and climate change to minimize damage. Focus on directing effective production in the 2023-2024 winter-spring crop as a premise to complete the 2024 production plan.

Strongly deploy comprehensive digital transformation in the agricultural sector, promote the application of science and technology, innovation, promote deep processing of agricultural products, expand production of products meeting quality standards, OCOP products to increase value.

There are solutions to replicate effective production models, develop multi-value integrated models. Continue to effectively direct the implementation of the national target program on building new rural areas in a practical and in-depth manner. Promote administrative reform, accompany and support businesses to invest in agriculture and rural areas.
