Launching the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025

BTO - The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025 organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for students across Vietnam is a key activity with practical significance contributing to the continued implementation of the Project on developing reading culture in the community for the period 2021 - 2025.

In Binh Thuan, the Reading Culture Ambassador contest was launched by the Provincial Library to students in Binh Thuan province, aiming to form reading habits and skills for students, thereby arousing passion, promoting reading movement in the young generation, encouraging sharing, spreading the love of reading, contributing to developing reading culture in schools and communities, building a learning society and arousing the desire to contribute, develop the country, contributing to building the system of cultural values ​​and standards of Vietnamese people.

The Reading Culture Ambassador Contest is organized to encourage sharing and spreading the love of reading.

Accordingly, the Preliminary round will be held in Binh Thuan province, with submission deadlines from April 1 to June 10, 2025. Individuals will participate in the contest by answering questions. Entries must fully answer the 2 questions posed in the Contest (posted on the Website: thuvienbinhthuan.com.vn/thong-bao), with healthy, clear content, in accordance with Vietnamese customs and culture; ensuring accuracy, information security and legal regulations.

Each contestant submits an independent entry (no group entries), the language of presentation is in Vietnamese and can use one of two forms: Written (typed, handwritten), the length of the written entry must not exceed 5,000 words (15 typed pages); Video editing: Minimum duration is 5 minutes, maximum is 10 minutes; effects, techniques can be used and ensure image and sound quality... suitable for posting on YouTube.

Candidates submit their entries directly to the school where they are studying. The school will collect and send the candidates' entries to the Organizing Committee of the Contest at the address: Binh Thuan Provincial Library, No. 286, Tran Hung Dao Street, Phan Thiet City. The Organizing Committee will receive, grade the entries and select the best entries to participate in the Final Round organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism before July 1, 2025. The Final Round and Award Ceremony of the Contest, honoring the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador in Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh Province is expected to take place at the end of October 2025.
