On New Year's Eve, Hanoi City will organize fireworks displays at 30 locations, including 9 high-altitude fireworks displays and 21 low-altitude fireworks displays. At each high-altitude fireworks display, about 600 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks displays will be launched at the moment of New Year's Eve, the transition between the old and new year.
The fireworks display to welcome the New Year will last 15 minutes from 0:00 to 0:15 on the 29th (the first day of the Lunar New Year).
People are gradually gathering around Hoan Kiem Lake to watch the high-altitude fireworks display.
