Recorded at 7:00 p.m. on February 8, the accident occurred in the section passing through village 10, Ha Linh commune, Huong Khe district (Ha Tinh), causing National Highway 15A to be congested for many kilometers, hundreds of cars had to stop and wait for authorities to handle the accident.

Traffic police dispatched a crane to the scene for rescue and mobilized forces to regulate traffic in two directions.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong (residing in Huong Thuy commune, Huong Khe district) said: "I drove my car from the city to Huong Khe district. However, when I reached the section passing through Ha Linh commune, I had to stop and wait for two hours on the road to be able to move because there was an accident ahead."

According to information from the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Province, this afternoon on National Highway 15A, through Ha Linh Commune, two consecutive accidents occurred.

Specifically, at around 1:30 p.m. the same day, a truck with license plate 38C - 145xx traveling from Ha Tinh City to Huong Khe Town collided with a Lao tractor-trailer with license plate UN - 15xx traveling in the opposite direction. The accident caused severe damage to the front of the truck, blocking the road, causing traffic congestion for several kilometers.

At around 4:30 p.m., a Lao tractor with license plate UN-17xx was traveling from Ha Tinh City to Huong Khe Town. When it reached village 10, Ha Linh Commune, it lost control and veered off the road, blocking the road, causing a traffic jam.

At around 8:00 p.m. the same day, authorities were still on duty at the scene to regulate traffic and were not yet able to tow the damaged vehicles from the scene.

The accident caused National Highway 15A to be blocked for several hours. After 8 p.m., vehicles were able to move slowly through the accident area.
