US Department of Agriculture delegation visits Golden Gate Group headquarters

Golden Gate Group welcomed the US Department of Agriculture Trade Delegation to visit and work at its headquarters in Hanoi.

The visit took place on September 13, with the participation of California Secretary of Agriculture and Food Karen Ross and representatives of US businesses in the agricultural and food sectors.

“This event marks an important step in Golden Gate Group's journey of expanding international cooperation, while affirming the company's commitment to quality and business potential in the international market,” said Mr. Dao The Vinh, CEO of Golden Gate.

The US agricultural delegation and Golden Gate leadership had extensive discussions on expanding the portfolio of high-quality products from the US to the Vietnamese market, exchanging views on food safety standards and advanced quality control processes.

The two sides also discussed new trends in the food and culinary industry. At the same time, the visit also opened up new opportunities in the scope of trade cooperation between the two sides, creating favorable conditions for promoting import and export in the future.

Mr. Dao The Vinh shared: "The visit of the US Department of Agriculture Trade Delegation is a clear demonstration of the close cooperation between Golden Gate Group and US partners. Golden Gate Group is constantly looking for safe, quality, and strictly inspected food sources. In the future, we expect stable productivity and quality supply from the US to meet market demand, bringing products with reasonable and competitive prices."

Established in 2005, Golden Gate Group currently owns more than 40 brands and more than 500 multi-style restaurants in nearly 50 provinces and cities across Vietnam.

In the first 6 months of 2024, Golden Gate imported 565 tons of chicken, beef and pork from the US, nearly equal to the total output of the whole year of 2023 (792 tons). On February 21, 2024, Golden Gate Group officially launched the Golden Gate Foods brand and inaugurated the Food Factory in Thach That - Quoc Oai Industrial Park (Hanoi).
