On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), on the afternoon of November 14, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha attended the National Great Unity Day with the people of Quarter 3, Phuoc Nguyen Ward, Ba Ria City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province.
Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province and many people of Ward 3, Phuoc Nguyen Ward (Ba Ria City).
Speaking at the Festival, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha expressed his joy when seeing that from the province to districts and communes in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, there have been strong changes and developments.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Ba Ria - Vung Tau province is identified as one of the national marine economic centers; an international-class tourism center and one of the clean energy and green industry centers with high added value.
In the near future, people will enjoy high-quality social services; a multi-layered social security system; live in a clean and safe environment; and good cultural identity will be preserved and promoted.
To achieve that, the decisive factor is the dynamic and innovative spirit of the Party Committee and authorities at all levels and the role of the People and enterprises as the center, subject and driving force. We must maximize the strength of great solidarity, the spirit of innovation, creativity and aspiration of the entire people to create a combined strength.
Practical actions in building civilized communities, in solving common social problems that each family, each clan, each parish, each neighborhood like our neighborhood 3 is doing today, will create powerful changes.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested that Party committees, authorities, and Fatherland Fronts at all levels of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province continue to promote the effectiveness of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements;
Promote democracy, listen to the opinions, thoughts and aspirations of the people, care for the activities of the Front, Front cadres and the people; Continue to take many practical actions to care for the material and spiritual life of the people; share, support and help people facing difficulties in life, no one is left behind.
Governments at all levels encourage and motivate all classes of people and each family to strive, enthusiastically work in production, innovate, create, apply scientific and technological advances, and strive to enrich themselves legitimately; promptly encourage and reward advanced models, outstanding collectives and individuals to create momentum and competitive spirit among all people.
In the atmosphere of the “Great National Unity” Festival, the Deputy Prime Minister hopes that the people in the neighborhood who are united need to be even more united; who are determined need to be even more determined; who have made efforts need to make even more efforts to work together to build and develop their homeland to become more and more beautiful, civilized, a place that anyone who goes far away will remember, and anyone who has been there once will want to come back.
Quarter 3, Phuoc Nguyen Ward (Ba Ria City) has a natural area of 60 hectares, including 675 households, with 3,115 people. There are 2 religious establishments in the area (Dung Lac Parish and Tinh Quang Pagoda). In 2024, 652/654 households met the cultural family standards (Rate 99.7%), with 11/12 residential groups achieving excellence.
In recent times, the Neighborhood Front Committee has regularly promoted and mobilized people in all aspects of work such as: environmental sanitation, no trading on roads and sidewalks. In addition, it has regularly mobilized people not to advertise or post on walls and electric poles, which spoils the landscape in the neighborhood...
Advising the Party Committee, coordinating with the Neighborhood Executive Board, Associations, Youth Unions, 12 residential groups and the Executive Board of Dung Lac Parish, the Executive Board of Tinh Quang Pagoda maintained the commitment to implement the model of "Self-governing residential groups, environmental protection, climate change". Thereby, 670 households signed the commitment to implement.
The movement "All people protect national security" has always been widely implemented by the neighborhood with many well-coordinated activities. Implementing the model "Safe residential group, peaceful neighborhood" and the work of transforming the area deployed by the ward police. At the festival, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha presented gifts worth 41 million VND to the collective of Ward 3, Phuoc Nguyen Ward and poor households in the area. The People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province also presented 5 million VND in cash and gifts to the collective and poor households in Ward 3, Phuoc Nguyen Ward.
