According to AFP, Nvidia's remarkable growth is thanks to the explosive demand for chips used to run artificial intelligence (AI) software in data centers. This is also the product that the group has focused on recently. According to CEO Jensen Huang, Nvidia has increased large-scale production of the latest Blackwell chip and recorded billions of dollars in sales in the first quarter of its launch.
AFP quoted analyst Jacob Bourne from the US-based market research firm Emarketer as saying that despite concerns about the unexpected success of DeepSeek (China) and difficulties in deploying Blackwell, Nvidia's business results show that the company is still leading the AI market. According to him, Nvidia's competitors are trying to accelerate their progress, but advanced AI models require computing resources that Nvidia provides.
