In recent years, Nui Thanh has continuously developed information technology (IT) infrastructure in government agencies to keep up with the development trend of the 4.0 era. The District People's Committee has regularly updated the database of legal documents and directives of the District People's Committee on the local information portal to serve the needs of learning, exploiting and using information and data of cadres, civil servants, businesses and people. This contributes to the publicization of administrative procedures, information transparency, increasingly serving the implementation of political tasks and socio-economic development of the locality.

The centralized Q-office document management system is deployed to all agencies and units in the district, connecting the Government document communication axis and integrating specialized digital signatures, serving the sending and receiving of electronic documents for most common documents.

“Nui Thanh has deployed IT projects, security cameras, IP radios and coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications to conduct surveys and install BTS stations in the area. Review and count areas with low and white signals in the area. Effectively maintain the online conference system and invest in purchasing equipment to ensure smooth connection from the district to the grassroots to meet the needs of online meetings between state agencies” – Chairman of the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district Le Van Sinh said.

At the same time, Nui Thanh develops digital human resources by sending district and commune-level officials to fully participate in training courses on IT application, information security, digital transformation, etc. organized by the province. And deploy training and propaganda on digital transformation for civil servants and community technology groups.

The development of digital government has created many conveniences in work when applying the upgraded version of QOffice software in accordance with the process of receiving and issuing electronic documents with digital signatures applied directly on the software and 100% of administrative procedure files (TTHC) are received through the one-stop software system.

All departments, professional offices, communes and towns deploy the application of electronic one-stop software in handling administrative procedures for citizens, 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees use the province's official mailbox to handle work...

“We promote the dissemination of full-service and partial public services, online payments in various forms such as conferences, training, leaflets, videos, billboards, etc. to create a change in people's awareness in handling administrative procedures in the electronic environment. At the same time, up to now, 100% of village and block cultural houses have installed wifi to serve people, helping to increase the rate of access and use of online public services,” said Mr. Le Van Sinh.

The participation in digital transformation has received attention from the entire political system when in 2024, the District Party Committee and People's Council promptly issued many documents on IT application and digital transformation in the area. The conversion of State management activities from traditional methods to information technology applications has initially achieved some results when many practical products and services were launched to serve people and businesses promptly and effectively.

However, Chairman of the District People's Committee Le Van Sinh acknowledged that the awareness of the position and role of digital transformation in some agencies, units and localities is not really good, the change is not clear. The rate of online public services in whole and in part is still low, online payment has not achieved the set plan, there is still a situation of late administrative procedure settlement records...

Therefore, this locality determined that in 2025, it will strengthen leadership, direction, and management, especially the inspection and supervision of digital transformation activities. And it requires agencies, units, and localities to specifically define the content, deadline, and required results when developing programs and work plans.

At the same time, review the current status, propose upgrading the network system, security, IT equipment, other systems serving digital transformation such as online meeting rooms, WAN connection, wifi system, camera, anti-virus... Propose to add content to develop digital infrastructure to commune and town levels such as equipping computers, printers, scanners, LAN, high-speed internet, WAN connection, digital signature; use specialized data transmission networks of Party and State agencies.

Focus on restructuring processes, cutting down and simplifying administrative procedures, ensuring the provision of online public services more conveniently and simply than directly implementing them on the basis of digitization, data reuse and electronic interconnection. Carry out tasks to improve indicators and assessments, rankings on administrative reform, enhance competitiveness and digital transformation of the district.

Commune-level People's Committees operate local electronic information pages to serve their activities and provide information to organizations and citizens. Standardize and digitize business processes for processing records on the network environment, forms, reporting regimes, etc.

Deploying community digital technology teams at village and block levels in communes and towns to disseminate information about digital transformation to the people. Community technology teams will directly support and guide people in using smart technology applications, e-commerce, and public administrative services such as instructions on installing and exploiting smart applications Quang Nam, eGov Quang Nam, public service switchboard 1022, etc.

"People participate in digital transformation in every area of ​​life, which is a specific job at the grassroots level to work with the government to build digital government, develop digital economy, and digital society," said Mr. Le Van Sinh.
