Elected by the Youth Union members to hold the position of Secretary of the Xuan Vien Commune Youth Union (Nghi Xuan - Ha Tinh) since 2020, Ms. Phan Thi My Ha (born in 1990) has constantly strived to deepen the activities of the Youth Union.

Having participated in the Youth Union for more than 15 years and taking on the role of Secretary of the Xuan Vien Commune Youth Union since 2020, Ms. Phan Thi My Ha has always closely followed the direction of the Party Committee, the superior Youth Union and local practices to constantly innovate methods and effectively implement programs and activities.

As a leader of the Youth Union and a young party member, Ms. Ha understands better than anyone the role of “wherever youth is needed, where there is difficulty, there is youth”. Therefore, in her assigned position, she always strives to complete her tasks well.

Ms. Ha said: “I always keep in mind that the youth must take the lead, follow Uncle Ho's teachings, promote the spirit and youthfulness for the development of the homeland. Therefore, I myself determined to study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings right from the normal and simple daily activities. Always be a pioneer, a role model in activities; promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations and always be close to the youth to be able to gather the strength of the Youth Union into the common movement."

From that spirit, Ms. Ha has proposed many good models, unique initiatives, and diverse forms of activities to attract a large number of young union members to participate, contributing to keeping the fire burning and stirring up the union movement at the grassroots level. Accordingly, she has boldly registered and undertaken many important projects and tasks, joining hands with the locality to build Xuan Vien commune to develop day by day.

Environmental protection activities are actively responded to by the Youth Union of Xuan Vien commune.

It has become a tradition that every month, Xuan Vien Commune Youth Union organizes volunteer Saturdays and Green Sundays to clean up the environment and remove black spots of waste in public areas... The female leader of Xuan Vien Commune Youth Union said that in the period of 2020 - 2023, she and the local Youth Union organized more than 400 campaigns to help the commune build a civilized urban area, with thousands of working days. Thereby, it has helped the locality improve and complete many important NTM criteria.

The commune delegation also mobilized social resources to build dozens of typical projects in the area, which were highly appreciated by superiors such as: solar power project on Giang - Vien - Linh route in Nam Vien village, with a total value of 300 million VND; the playground for the elderly and children in Nam Vien village worth 25 million VND; the renovation project of the playground for children at the commune park worth 5 million VND...

Many youth projects carried out by the Youth Union of Xuan Vien commune have brought positive results.

In the activities of accompanying young people to start and establish their own businesses, Ms. Ha and the Commune Youth Union actively encourage young people to study, improve their professional qualifications, apply information technology in their work, and enthusiastically participate in labor production competitions. It is known that currently, Xuan Vien Commune Youth Union is coordinating with the Social Policy Bank to effectively manage entrusted capital with 3 savings and loan groups, with a total outstanding debt of nearly 4 billion VND.

Sharing about gathering young union members to participate in union movements, Ms. Ha said: “I always keep in mind that if I want to mobilize young union members to participate in movements, I myself must be truly exemplary and enthusiastic in everything so that everyone can follow. Before implementing activities, I always discuss them carefully, plan clearly, and especially bring practical results to the community. Besides, listening to everyone's thoughts and aspirations is also a way for me to understand, share and accompany young union members.”
