Recently, a video appeared on social media recording a scene of a female student being bullied by a group of friends. In the video, the group asked the girl to strip, then forced her to kneel. Not stopping there, the group of girls continuously asked the girl to apologize to each person in the group.
It is known that the female student who bullied is KTT, a 5th grade student at My Luong Primary School (Chuong My district, Hanoi). The incident happened on April 29.

Speaking to Zing , KTT's older sister, Kieu Thi Thanh, said that during her time at school, T. was often beaten and bullied by her classmates both inside and outside of school. T. reported the matter to her homeroom teacher, but the homeroom teacher did not take any action.
Ms. Thanh said that on April 29, T. was again bullied by a group of friends, who slapped him, forced him to kneel, took off his clothes, and filmed the video and posted it on social media. The family was shocked after seeing the images of their child being bullied.
"This group of female students threatened T. not to tell her family, because if she did, she would be beaten. That's why, after April 29, when we noticed T. acting unusually, my family inquired and discovered the incident," Ms. Thanh shared.
According to Ms. Thanh, after the incident, T. showed signs of panic, fear, did not dare to meet strangers, could not even eat or drink anything and did not dare to go to school. Not wanting her child's results to be affected, on the days the school held semester exams, Ms. Thanh's family had to encourage and take T. to school, and the rest of the time, the family asked for permission for her to stay home from school.
"T. is very afraid to go to school because her friends tease, insult her, and say very harsh things. Even though the video was removed, when it was shared on social media, many classmates saved it to tease her, and T.'s psychology was greatly affected," Ms. Thanh shared.
The family contacted the homeroom teacher to ask for support to resolve the issue. Ms. Thanh said that the homeroom teacher informed the families that the incident happened outside the school, so the school did not get involved, only asking the parents of the three female students to go to T.'s house to apologize. However, Ms. Thanh's family felt that this was not satisfactory.
"The homeroom teacher did not call to ask about or care for my sister. We had to ask the teacher to organize a meeting with the families and the school to discuss and resolve the matter. This made our family very upset because we felt that the homeroom teacher was very irresponsible, did not resolve the matter thoroughly, and did not inform the families even though the students had reported the matter many times," Ms. Thanh said, adding that the school had invited the families to meet on the morning of May 17.
Speaking with Zing , Mr. Nguyen Huu Thin, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Chuong My district, said that the Department of Education and Training has received information about the incident and is directing My Luong Primary School to coordinate with the Commune People's Committee to resolve the matter.
