Along with promoting propaganda and mobilizing members of the Youth Union, Women's Union members and people to maintain environmental hygiene, participate in activities of planting and caring for trees, and clean up the environment, the City Women's Union actively coordinated with the Dong Hai Border Guard Station, the City Police, the 937th Air Force Regiment, the 74th Armored Company, the Provincial Police Women's Union and the Women's Unions of communes and wards to clean up the environment at "black spots", plant trees on roads, martyrs' memorials, and schools in the city.

Contributing to the effective implementation of the Project "Joining hands to prevent and combat single-use plastic waste that is difficult to decompose" and the campaign "Joining hands to build Phan Rang-Thap Cham City into a smart city, a green living community", the Association coordinated with the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion, the Department of Industry and Trade to organize a training conference, propaganda and campaign "Joining hands to prevent and combat single-use plastic waste that is difficult to decompose"; develop a plan, pilot the model "Collecting plastic waste - Exchanging a green sprout" in My Huong ward, which has now been expanded to Tan Tai 3 Primary School and Bao An 2 Primary School. Over the period of implementation and expansion, the Association has collected over 60 kg of plastic bottles and exchanged over 200 flowers of all kinds.
In addition to the prepared flower pots, with ingenuity and creativity, the city's cadres, students and women also utilized and recycled used plastic bottles into colorful and vibrant flower pots, attracting students to participate. All plastic bottles collected from the model will be used for the "Small Plan" movement at schools. The model "Collecting plastic waste - Changing a green sprout" is a practical activity, not only contributing to promoting environmental protection activities, reducing plastic waste, but also spreading the movement of planting and caring for trees in the community... From the meaning of the model, on the occasion of the 113th anniversary of International Women's Day March 8 and the 1983 anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, the Association recently coordinated with the City Labor Federation to organize the "Healthy and Beautiful Dance" folk dance competition, which included the contents and awards of design competitions and plastic waste recycling. The contest attracted, aroused and promoted the creativity of women and girls in communes and wards in utilizing plastic waste to recycle into decorative products for homes, offices, etc. Thereby, contributing to spreading and raising awareness among women and families in environmental protection and preventing and combating plastic waste in the locality.
The Women's Union at all levels also focused on maintaining and effectively implementing models and campaigns: "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean", "Carrying a basket to the market", "Family trash can", "Self-managed route", "Trusted address", models of preventing and combating domestic violence, protecting women and children... In addition, in the first quarter of 2023, the Women's Union of My Hai ward launched the model of "Reusing plastic waste into reusable products" at My Hai Primary School; the City Women's Union launched the Women's Union of 16 communes and wards to implement the "Bright - Beautiful" route on 19 roads and alleys to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. During the implementation period, the Women's Union of 16 communes and wards mobilized and coordinated businesses, philanthropists, party cells, neighborhoods and households living on roads and alleys to join hands to install lighting, decorative lights, plant flowers... with a total amount of over 281 million VND. The City Women's Union mobilized 5 solar lights worth 6 million VND to support the units. The implementation of the "Bright - Beautiful" route has brought practical results, received the consensus and support of the people and spread the spirit of solidarity in the community, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU dated January 18, 2023 of the Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Party Committee on building Phan Rang - Thap Cham City "Bright, green, clean, beautiful, civilized" in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030.
