NTO - Conference to announce the overall adjustment of Phan Rang City Construction Planning

On June 14, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the overall adjustment of the Construction Planning of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province to 2040 and vision to 2050.

Attending the conference were comrades: Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Huynh Tan Hanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Chau Thi Thanh Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City; Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the Decision on approving the overall adjustment project of the General Construction Planning of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, Ninh Thuan Province to 2040 and vision to 2050 to the leaders of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City.

With a strategic vision to develop Phan Rang - Thap Cham into a unique balanced urban area, the province sets a goal to build Phan Rang - Thap Cham City into an ecological, sustainable, smart, livable, net emission city of "0" by 2050; a tourist city with a strong identity and unique and different values. Phan Rang - Thap Cham City is identified as a mixed, diverse urban area, taking tourism as the driving force for development, towards a smart urban area, a tourist urban area, a coastal urban area, a green urban area; one of the tourist centers of the Central region and the whole country; an inter-regional traffic hub, an economic exchange center with the Central Highlands and the Central Coast; becoming a key economic region in the South (of the whole country) and the Southeast region.

Regarding the spatial development structure, Phan Rang - Thap Cham City is divided into 5 large sub-zones with distinct characteristics and functions including: Heritage urban development area, Coastal urban development area, Central urban development area, Dinh River urban development area and Connecting urban development area (Thanh Son airport area).

Speaking at the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the adjustment of the Master Plan of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City to 2040, with a vision to 2050, is an important task, of great significance to the development of the city as well as the whole province. He requested that the Party Committees, the city government and the provincial departments, branches and sectors coordinate to focus on leading and directing the good implementation of the approved plan.

In particular, focusing on promoting planning propaganda to cadres and people of all walks of life; organizing planning management and land management; especially identifying areas for implementing concentrated investment projects to increase investment calls; at the same time reviewing all planning, on that basis, having effective implementation solutions, suitable to the actual situation, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, completing the set development goals.
