Sharing at the launching event of Bach Ma Film Studio, People's Artist Quoc Anh affirmed that "making movies is very difficult", it must ensure "maximum entertainment but still leave in the audience the humanity and soul of the Vietnamese people to be successful and have viewers".
People's Artist Quoc Anh shares about making movies today.
Praising films in the South for doing this well, People's Artist Quoc Anh cited Tran Thanh's cinematic works and said "these are extremely entertaining films but also carry meaningful, warning messages."
Meritorious Artist Tien Quang stated that cinema in the South is more developed than in the North. The reason is not because Northern films are of poor quality or lacking depth, but rather lies in the communication and promotion.

For many years, the North has only been able to make television and documentary films, while feature films have been very weak. The film market is still unstable and too dependent on the State, so the birth of a private film studio like Bach Ma and its announcement of film production plans is quite positive.
Bach Ma Film Studio is not the first private film studio in the North. Before Bach Ma, there were also a number of film studios that announced their establishment, but their operations were unstable for a while and then disappeared.
Aware of the upcoming difficulties, director Pham Duc Dung (founder of Bach Ma Film Studio) - who has made many Tet comedy films that have been well received by audiences for many years, affirmed that after 5 years of absence, he is returning to filmmaking with a new mindset.
Pham Duc Dung revealed that in 2025, Bach Ma Film Studio will start filming its first theatrical film to serve the audience. " We try to make 3-4 theatrical films a year with the hope of making Hollywood-style blockbusters," he shared.
