Dong Hung District Red Cross Society: Funding support for building new houses and repairing 4 temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households

Responding to the peak emulation campaign "300 days of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the Red Cross Society of Dong Hung district has actively called on and mobilized cadres, members, volunteers, organizations and individuals to donate funds to support the construction and repair of temporary and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the area.

Habitat Organization (Japan), leaders of Dong Hung District Red Cross Society presented funds to build a new house for Ms. Hoang Thi Tam's family, Lien An Do commune.

In particular, the Red Cross Society of Dong Hung district coordinated with sponsors to provide funding to build 4 new houses for poor households, households with temporary houses, and dilapidated houses worth 100 million VND/house and support 50 million VND to repair 1 temporary house. In addition to cash support, the Society also mobilized staff, members, and volunteers to participate in working days, contribute materials, and give essential items to help households stabilize their lives soon.

Volunteers from Habitat (Japan) and Red Cross officials from Dong Hung district supported working days to build new houses for poor households in Lien An Do commune.

To complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area before June 30, 2025, in the coming time, the Red Cross Society of Dong Hung district will continue to promote propaganda and mobilize organizations and individuals to support more poor and near-poor households to settle down and find jobs.
