Recently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (Khanh Vinh district, Khanh Hoa) has changed her business method from traditional to modern, with this method, customers continuously close orders to buy green-skinned grapefruit.

Ms. Huong shared that nowadays, businesses need to change to keep up with the market to serve customers. Throughout the livestream session, viewers can directly hear interesting knowledge about local green-skinned grapefruit products, as well as stories about the origin and product quality of each grapefruit.

During livestreams or videos that attract a lot of viewers and some videos attract over 10,000 views. When the customer is satisfied, the quantity and price are immediately finalized at the farm and the next step is to pack and ship to each customer.

With this method, agricultural products of farmers in Khanh Vinh district are less likely to be stagnant, and grapefruit products here are supplied to customers all year round, especially during holidays and Tet.

Mr. Dao Duc Hung - Deputy Director of Ngan Nguyen Fruit and Agricultural Products Import-Export Company Limited (Khanh Vinh town, Khanh Vinh district) said that the company's employees have applied livestreaming in the garden, in addition, any products that have not been livestreamed in time are brought back to the warehouse to continue sorting and introducing to customers.

According to Mr. Hung, the unit's grapefruit is not only supplied domestically but also supplied to the world market. On average, each year the unit purchases about 300 - 350 hectares, equivalent to 800 - 1,100 tons of green-skin grapefruit from local farmers. Khanh Vinh's grapefruit has very different characteristics from other regions, crispy, sweet, and pink.

Mr. Hung shared that the grapefruits delivered to customers always ensure quality for consumers, absolutely not providing poor quality products, that is one of the top criteria that the unit has maintained for many years.

Currently, Ngan Nguyen Fruit and Agricultural Products Import-Export Company Limited also wraps and packages grapefruits very carefully before delivering to customers. Ngan Nguyen grapefruit products have achieved 3-star OCOP and are striving to achieve 4-star OCOP. In addition, the company has achieved the top 10 titles of Asia's Golden Brand 2023, and the typical brand of international integration 2023.

Mr. Hung requested that the authorities continue to pay attention and support capital to build equipment for factories and support machinery to process post-harvest products. At the same time, train production processes and provide timely guidance to farmers in a synchronous manner.

According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Kien - owner of a green-skin pomelo farm in Khanh Hiep commune, he really likes Ngan Nguyen's trading style. The unit does not classify products before buying like other traders but buys all sizes, making it easier for gardeners to sell and consume agricultural products. For a long time, his farm's pomelo output has almost been consumed.
