Việt NamViệt Nam12/08/2023

The application for an electronic visa to Russia (evisa) will be processed within no more than 4 days from the date of submission.

Responding to readers about getting an evisa to enter Russia, a representative of a travel company in Hanoi that provides visa services for Vietnamese people gave detailed instructions. In addition, visitors can refer to the website of the Consular Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

From August 1, Vietnamese citizens are on the list of more than 50 countries and territories that are granted evisa to enter Russia. The difference between evisa and traditional visa is that there is no need for invitation letter, hotel reservation confirmation, financial proof or any other documents related to the purpose of going to Russia. The procedure is simpler, the approval time is also shorter.

Evisa to Russia is valid for personal or business visits, tourism, as well as participation in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, sports events and similar activities. If the purpose of the trip is different, you must apply to the Russian diplomatic mission or consular office for a regular visa.

Evisa is a single entry visa. It is valid for 60 days from the date of issue. The permitted period of stay in Russia is no more than 16 days from the date of entry.
