Having a new house is a great motivation for my children and me to work together and strive to improve our lives so as not to disappoint the care and support of all levels and sectors, as well as the love and care that everyone has given to me and my children.”
Sharing the joy with Mrs. Toi's family, implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU, Hoa Quy commune has 9 more poor households living in new solid houses built with the affection, responsibility and solidarity of the whole community. Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Quy Commune, Le Van Hung, said: “To effectively implement Directive No. 22-CT/TU, the commune has focused on disseminating the meaning and purpose of the campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties to each cadre, party member, and people as well as businesses and local children living far from home. At the same time, during the implementation process, the review, publicity, and transparency of the beneficiaries of housing construction support in each residential area have always been done well, thereby creating high consensus among the people during the implementation process. Currently, the commune is continuing to start construction of many new houses for poor households, striving to have 11 more new houses built from the implementation of this campaign by 2025.”
Implementing Directive No. 22-CT/TU, the Standing Committee of the Nhu Xuan District Party Committee has established a Steering Committee for the campaign to build houses for poor households, policy households, and disadvantaged households who do not have houses and are living in temporary, dilapidated houses in the district in 2024-2025; directed 16/16 communes and towns to establish steering committees, issue documents, organize and implement the campaign. At the same time, the district also organized screenings and made lists of poor households, near-poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the district who need to build houses in 2024-2025; promoted propaganda about the significance of the campaign, thereby creating a spreading effect for businesses, cadres, party members and people to actively join hands in supporting.
As of March 24, 2025, the total amount of support received by the District Fatherland Front Committee reached over 4.2 billion VND, including some typical units, such as the communes: Thanh Xuan, Thanh Phong, Thanh Son, Tan Binh; Ethnic Boarding School; Nhu Xuan High School; Nhu Xuan 2 High School... From the appeal fund, the District Steering Committee has allocated and used the funding source publicly, transparently, and to the right subjects, helping 107 poor households have new houses in 2024.
According to the plan, in 2025, Nhu Xuan district will continue to support the construction and repair of new houses for 259 poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties. To complete the set goals, the district continues to promote propaganda, call on, and mobilize agencies, units, businesses, philanthropists, civil servants, employees, workers, and all classes of people, and Nhu Xuan fellow countrymen in and outside the district to promote the spirit of "Mutual love and support" to join hands and contribute to accompany local Party committees and authorities to support and help build houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in the area. During the implementation process, the district always does a good job of receiving, managing, allocating, and using the campaign's funding sources to ensure publicity, transparency, and compliance with regulations to prevent personal gain and profiteering.
Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nhu Xuan District, Vi Thanh Huong, said: “The district is also actively coordinating with relevant departments and branches to focus on checking, reviewing, and removing difficulties and obstacles for households on the list of housing support but do not have land that meets the conditions for land allocation, in which priority is given to guiding the transfer procedures for 168 households that have separated land titles from their parents, relatives, and households living on legal land that meets the conditions for land allocation; focusing on directing the removal of difficulties to ensure conditions for housing support for households without land, living on agricultural land, land violating traffic corridors... From there, more houses implemented according to Directive No. 22-CT/TU will soon be built and handed over to poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties, helping families escape poverty and stabilize their lives.”
